Amy Goldman is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and co-chair of the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practice. She has more than 25 years experience in the bankruptcy field and handles the following matters:
- Management responsibilities for individual Chapter 7 and complex corporation Chapter 11 cases
- Representation of Chapter 11 and 7 Trustees, Debtors, Debtors-in-Possession, Secured and Unsecured Creditors (including professionals, non-profits, healthcare entities, and insurance companies) in bankruptcy and work-out proceedings in a wide variety of industries
- Representation of Assignees for the Benefit of Creditors, Federal and State Court Receivers, and Disbursing Agents Under Chapter 11 or out-of-court work-outs
- Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the Central District of California (1998 - present) appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee

Legal Experience
- Lexington Insurance Company: Represented Lexington Insurance Company in a heavily contested interpleader action in Bankruptcy Court.
- William E. Preston Trust: Represented the Chapter 7 Trustee with respect to complex royalty tax issues, various property rights and avoidance actions, and successfully addressed unique bankruptcy filing requirements set forth in BAPCPA.
- Valencia Imaging Medical Group: Represented the Radiology Group at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in an adversarial Chapter 11 case with respect to their employment and compensation claims.
- North Beach Leather International, Inc.: Represented Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors in effectuating the liquidation of the company's assets and resolving leasehold interests at various locations nationwide.
- MCC Events Management, Inc.: Represented Chapter 7 Trustee in effectuating the sale of a $10 million property in the City of Temecula, resolved all disputed secured liens, and resolved the tax claims of the City of Riverside.
- Westland Apartments, Ltd.: Represented the City of Huntsville, Alabama in a bankruptcy case where they were a secured creditor on a low-income housing project. Assisted in negotiating a consensual Plan of Reorganization with the Debtor.
- Smokehouse Restaurant: Assisted in the Chapter 11 case of this well-known Burbank restaurant, resulting in a confirmed Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization which included resolving the salary and benefit claims of the Union employees.
- Represented L.A. Fiber Company, a large environmental company, in resolving financial issues.
- Represented Estate Representative in the administration of In re Tony Kaye Films, Inc., a post-confirmation Chapter 11 case.
- As Chapter 7 Trustee operated and sold Right-on-Time Moving & Storage, Inc., a moving and storage company, and resolved complaints of the Better Business Bureau.
- Represented Chapter 11 Trustee of BRB #1 Partners in the sale of an ambulatory care facility, which provided for the payment to all secured creditors.
- Represented Chapter 7 Trustee of FasTV, Inc. in the liquidation of the collateral and other assets of a major failed dot com and resolving the lessor's claim, which resulted in the distribution to the estate's creditors.
- As Chapter 7 Trustee of Fat Burger, Inc. she resolved a multi-million dollar fraudulent transfer claim involving principals and insiders of the Debtor.
- Represented Chapter 7 Trustee of National Home Funding, Inc. in the liquidation of securitized notes and deeds of trust and resolved competing lenders' claims to the proceeds.
