Steven Corbin is a partner in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the  Products Liability, Asbestos Litigation, Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation, and General Liability Practices. He is admitted to practice law in the states of New York, New Jersey and the District Courts of New York and New Jersey.

Prior to joining this firm, Mr. Corbin practiced at a New Jersey law firm where he focused his practice on the defense of product liability, toxic tort, general liability, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage matters. While in law school, Mr. Corbin was a judicial intern for The Honorable Cecelia G. Morris, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.     

At Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Corbin has served as both national and local counsel defending product and equipment manufacturers and distributors in toxic tort and products’ liability litigation.   He has managed and assisted in the resolution of thousands of asbestos claims on the local, regional and national level. Mr. Corbin takes an active participation in cases from fact and expert discovery until resolution of the matter, including trial.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of managing complex litigation including successfully drafting and arguing dispositive motions, developing and implementing strategies, conducting and defending depositions, negotiating settlements, and assisting with all aspects of trial preparation.
