New York, N.Y. (March 13, 2024) – New York Partners Elior D. Shiloh and Brian Pete, Newark Partner Brent A. Bouma, and New York Associate Casey Katz Pearlman will present a webinar titled "New Jersey Employment Law Trends," on March 28, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

During this informative 60-minute CLE session, this Employment Webinar will address current trends and developments in New Jersey employment litigation. Our panel will focus on new decisional law, and updated recommendations and best practices for defending employment claims in New Jersey.

Mr. Shiloh was recently appointed chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice. He focuses his practice on handling single-party and class employment disputes as well as non-compete, trade secret, and breach of contract matters. Mr. Shiloh has extensive courtroom experience in federal and state venues, including serving as first chair during trials and arguing complex motions. He maintains a diverse client base, representing businesses in litigation and regularly providing guidance on an array of complicated and high-risk matters.

Mr. Pete is a member of the Labor & Employment, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, and Professional Liability Practices. He has significant experience representing businesses in employment related matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment ,and violations of wage and hour laws. Mr. Pete assists clients in navigating the complex array of federal, state, and local employment laws by advising on employment agreements, terminations, investigations, severance agreements, and proper classification of employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Mr. Bouma is a member of the General Liability and Labor & Employment Practices. Mr. Bouma is an experienced litigator and employment attorney who focuses his practice on the representation of employers, corporations, and individuals in actions alleging employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation as well as defending general and product liability claims. He has experience representing clients throughout all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts, including pre-suit negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, and appeals.

Casey Katz Pearlman is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Pearlman worked in Civil Rights Litigation at a firm in NYC.
