Lewis Brisbois Management Committee Unanimously Elects Greg Katz as Firmwide Managing Partner

New York, N.Y. (May 17, 2023) – Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP today announced that the firm’s newly expanded Management Committee unanimously elected Gregory S. Katz to be the firm’s new Managing Partner.

“Greg has proven himself to be an outstanding leader since he joined us 13 years ago and is clearly the right choice for this role,” said Robert Lewis, a founder of the firm and Chairman Emeritus. “I believe Greg and our expanded Management Committee will do great things to carry on the traditions of this firm.”

Mr. Katz, a long-serving member of the Management Committee and former Vice Chairman of the firm, is Managing Partner of the New York City office and co-chair of the General Liability and Transportation Practices. He also oversees the firm’s 24/7 Rapid Response On-Call Transportation Team, as well as its National Trial Practice Team. Mr. Katz will also continue to actively oversee his team of experienced litigators in New York.
