Gregg Clifton to Moderate Panel at SLA 2023 Annual Conference

Los Angeles, Calif. (May 3, 2023) – Phoenix Partner & Chair of Lewis Brisbois' Collegiate & Professional Sports Law Practice Gregg E. Clifton will moderate a panel at the upcoming SLA 2023 Annual Conference in Los Angeles on May 12 at 4:00 p.m. PT.

This informative two-hour session, titled “Current Labor Law Issues in Collegiate and Professional Sports,” will be broken up into back-to-back, hour-long breakout sessions. The annual conference will host a weekend of exciting and educational talks centered around the theme “The Athlete in Sports.” The Sports Lawyers Association will continue to organize events like this annual conference, where they aim to bring together enthusiastic individuals to exchange ideas and share inspiration. CLE credit is available.

Mr. Clifton is chair of Lewis Brisbois' Collegiate & Professional Sports Law Practice, and a member of the firm’s Entertainment, Media & Sports and Labor & Employment Practices. He has extensive experience in the collegiate and professional sports world and has advised numerous professional franchises on a range of labor and employment issues, including Title III ADA regulatory compliance and wage and hour issues. Mr. Clifton is also an editor of The Official Review, Lewis Brisbois’ sports law blog, and recently joined the firm's entertainment law podcast, Periscope.
