Tony Sain to Present at CLA Law Enforcement Practices and Liability Conference

Los Angeles Trial Partner Tony M. Sain will join a panel at the upcoming California Lawyers Association (CLA) Law Enforcement Practices and Liability Conference, hosted in San Diego on May 25 at 10:15 a.m. PT. 

San Diego, Calif. (April 24, 2023) – Los Angeles Trial Partner Tony M. Sain will join a panel at the upcoming California Lawyers Association (CLA) Law Enforcement Practices and Liability Conference, hosted in San Diego on May 25 at 10:15 a.m. PT. 

This two-hour session, titled “Handling the Aftermath of a Critical Incident before Litigation, the Impact of Body-Worn Cameras, and Public Record Act Requests (SB 1421)” will teach participants the proper steps to take following a critical incident. Attendees will learn how to coordinate with law enforcement, public officials, and officers involved in the incident, and how to control the release of information and handle press inquiries. The session will cover critical incident protocols, and insights into how to respond to Public Record Act requests and the impact of SB 1421/SB 16 on these requests. CLE credits are available.

Mr. Sain is a member of the General Liability and National Trial Practices. He focuses his practice on high exposure, high-stakes, high-profile matters in a wide variety of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases across a number of practice areas, including personal injury, tort litigation, as well as police civil rights and public entity defense.
