Lewis Brisbois Welcomes Kamran Salour Back to Firm as Co-Chair of Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Kamran Salour (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT) back to the firm as a partner in its Orange County office and a co-chair of its Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Salour advises clients on a full range of complex privacy and cybersecurity matters.

Orange County, Calif. (April 24, 2023) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Kamran Salour (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT) back to the firm as a partner in its Orange County office and a co-chair of its Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Salour advises clients on a full range of complex privacy and cybersecurity matters. He regularly works with businesses to design proactive cybersecurity measures, create pre-incident response plans, prepare vendor contracts, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. When clients experience cyber incidents, Mr. Salour draws upon his extensive experience to help them successfully navigate the incident response process, including implementing response notification procedures, responding to regulatory investigations, managing state and federal litigation, as well as evaluating and modifying policies to protect against a future event.

In discussing his decision to return to Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Salour explained, "I am delighted to return to Lewis Brisbois and help re-establish its cyber and privacy practice to national prominence. It is rare when a practice of this caliber finds itself in what I call 'stick season' - with tremendous roots ready to bloom. While not without challenges, I believe that when the dust settles, through collaboration, Robert and I will build a practice that will make carriers, clients, and Lewis Brisbois proud. Outside his practice, Mr. Salour has published and presented extensively on a variety of data privacy issues. He has also served as a resource for the media on current and evolving cybersecurity matters. Mr. Salour earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice in California.
