Atlanta, Ga. (February 21, 2023)  Atlanta Partner Jonathan Goins will present at the Institute for Intellectual Property and Social Justice’s (IIPSJ) 20th Annual IP and Social Justice CLE Seminar, which is hosted in Washington D.C. on March 3, 2023.  

During this informative 60-minute session, titled “Updates on College Athletes NIL & Celebrities Right of Publicity,” Mr. Goins and his co-panelist will provide an update on the latest state-by-state name, image and likeness (NIL) legislation since the US Supreme Court’s Alston decision, including some of the recent high profile NIL deals for college athletes. IIPSJ’s annual event (held in conjunction with the HBCU Tech Summit) provides attendees with the latest updates in IP, technology, and data privacy, and features speakers such as federal judges and Fortune 500 counsel.
