Thomas Cortazzo to Present on Insurance Law at LSU Conference

New Orleans Partner Thomas J. Cortazzo will present on insurance law at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Law CLE Conference, “2022 Recent Developments in Legislation & Jurisprudence,” hosted at Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center on December 16 at 9:00 a.m. CT.

New Orleans, La. (December 7, 2022) – New Orleans Partner Thomas J. Cortazzo will present on insurance law at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Law CLE Conference, “2022 Recent Developments in Legislation & Jurisprudence,” hosted at Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center on December 16 at 9:00 a.m. CT.

In this 30-minute session, Mr. Cortazzo will provide a review of recent legislation and jurisprudence related to insurance law, including automobile liability, uninsured motorist, personal liability, commercial liability, property insurance, life insurance, health and accident insurance. He will also focus on penalties and applicable administrative rules and legislation. CLE credits are available.

Mr. Cortazzo is a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. For more than 30 years, he has litigated cases ranging from various forms of commercial litigation, to toxic tort and asbestos cases, to personal injury and other insurance defense matters, in state, federal, and appellate courts in Louisiana. He is a certified mediator through the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and has helped clients resolve matters through arbitration and mediation.
