Las Vegas, Nev. (October 10, 2022) – Las Vegas Partner Josh Cole Aicklen will moderate the annual Clark County Judicial Forum, hosted by National Business Institute (NBI), on October 14 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

This informative 3-hour session, titled "The Judges' View: Nevada Civil Litigation Do's and Don'ts - What Civil Court Judges Want Every Attorney to Know," will feature a panel of Clark County District Court judges and an Associate Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court, who will share their insights on common procedural, evidentiary, and advocacy challenges. They will also discuss unacceptable litigation tactics and how attorneys can prevent procedural mistakes in discovery, pre-trial conferences, and trial presentation.

This unique course will give attendees an inside look at the expectations and preferences of the triers of fact, helping them to make the best of their litigation efforts in Clark County and beyond. CLE credits are available for this virtual event.

Mr. Aicklen is chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Hospitality Practice and an ABOTA trial lawyer with almost 30 years of experience in litigating cases in Nevada and California state and federal courts. This is the sixth year in a row he has moderated this judicial forum.
