New York, N.Y. (July 6, 2022) – New York Managing Partner Gregory S. Katz will present a live webinar on applying the "Reptile Theory" in first-party insurance cases, hosted by Strafford on August 16 at 1:00 p.m. ET.  

In this informative 90-minute session, titled “Reptilian Tactics: Litigating First-Party Insurance Cases,” Mr. Katz and his co-presenter will explore tactics used by plaintiffs' counsel to leverage Reptile Theory tactics in first-party insurance cases, as well as steps insurers can take to neutralize these tactics effectively. The panel will also discuss considerations in preserving for appellate review any challenges to using the Reptile Theory. CLE credits will be available to attendees.  

Mr. Katz is the chair of Lewis Brisbois' National Trial Practice, and a chair of its General Liability and Transportation Practices. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has over 20 years of experience in defending cases in state and federal court. He also formed and oversees the firm’s 24/7 Rapid Response On Call Transportation Team.
