Rapidly growing National Law Firm with an outstanding opportunity in our Human Resources Department for a Human Resources Clerk. The Human Resources Clerk assists in a variety of routine tasks to Human Resources Department such as organizing, scanning, and auditing of human resource information.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist with various department audits
  • Prepare verification of employment letters
  • Maintain and assist with purchasing amusement theme park and movie tickets with vendors and internal staff
  • Create and maintain Los Angeles personnel files
  • Audit of personnel information contained on various forms
  • Assist with transfer scanned Firm Wide personnel paperwork to respective personnel file folders
  • Maintenance of all personnel paperwork and other confidential documents
  • Maintain various HR Spreadsheets
  • Assist review, completion, and routing of Department mail (I handle this task; assist is fine)
  • Special projects as needed
  • Assist the Payroll Department with projects when needed
  • Reliable, consistent attendance in the office is required

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, or carrying

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years of experience in a Human Resources Department
