Atlanta, Ga. (June 8, 2022) - Atlanta Partner Steven Lee recently shared his thoughts with Law360 for an article titled, "Lewis Brisbois Adds Ex-Prosecutor As White Collar Co-Leader." The article discusses Mr. Lee’s decision to join Lewis Brisbois and his plans to further develop the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Defense Practice in his role as vice chair of the practice.

As the article describes, Mr. Lee "brings more than six years of experience as an assistant U.S. attorney and takes the reins of a practice group at Lewis Brisbois with more than 20 attorneys." In the article, Mr. Lee stated, "Given my vast experience as a white-collar crimes prosecutor, I felt I would be able to lend my experience and expertise to Lewis Brisbois' corporate clients who are conducting internal investigations of their own and may be responding to legal process[es] from the government."

Mr. Lee also noted that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and Assistant Attorney General Kenneth Polite announced in March that they plan to dedicate "additional resources for investigating and prosecuting corporate crime, corporate misconduct, and other white collar criminal matters."

Additionally, the article references Atlanta Partner Chris Collier’s recent move to Lewis Brisbois, noting that he joined the firm in May and “has advised companies in toxic tort cases for decades and previously served as litigation and environmental counsel at CSX Transportation Inc.”
