Providence, R.I. (May 16, 2022) – Providence Associate Nicole L. Andrescavage will speak at a workers’ compensation law webinar, jointly hosted by the Federal Bar Association and MyLawCLE, on June 7 at 12:00 p.m. ET.  

This informative panel, titled “Workers’ Compensation Hot Topics 2022: Remote workers, long-term COVID, medications, and marijuana,” will feature experts who will provide an overview of current workers’ compensation conditions and laws, with the rapid rise in employees choosing to work from home. They will discuss whether remote employees are covered under workers’ compensation laws, whether one’s home can be considered a place of employment, and potential COVID-19 exposure claims that could arise. CLE credits are available.  

Ms. Andrescavage is a member of the firm's General Liability and Workers' Compensation Practices. She previously served as General Counsel and Director of Policy and Legal Affairs for two local maritime-related entities, where she worked on various business, education, land use, maritime/admiralty, and sanctions compliance legal projects.
