Lewis Brisbois Enhances Toxic Tort & Environmental Capabilities With New Partner Hire
Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Chris Collier to its Atlanta office as a partner in the firm’s Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation, Products Liability, General Liability, and Transportation Practices. Chris brings to Lewis Brisbois more than two decades of experience representing large national and multinational corporations in toxic tort matters.
Atlanta, Ga. (May 9, 2022) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Chris Collier to its Atlanta office as a partner in the firm’s Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation, Products Liability, General Liability, and Transportation Practices. Chris brings to Lewis Brisbois more than two decades of experience representing large national and multinational corporations in toxic tort matters, including serving as national coordinating counsel for these organizations. Significantly, Chris also served as litigation and environmental in-house counsel for a United States Class I railroad. In this role, he advised on and developed a deep understanding of the complex business decisions that companies face in toxic tort and asbestos litigation.

In addition to Chris’ work in the toxic tort and asbestos arenas, he also concentrates his practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, transportation, and general negligence. He has extensive experience representing individuals, family-owned businesses, and companies of all sizes in these matters in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Outside of his practice, Chris volunteers with the Atlanta Lawyers Foundation’s Saturday Lawyer Program, which provides pro bono assistance to individuals and families with reduced incomes. For the past eight years, he also has taught a course on trial techniques to second year students at the Emory University School of Law.
Chris earned his law degree from the Emory University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Wake Forest University. He is admitted to practice in Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, and West Virginia.
