Robert Rourke is a partner in the Las Vegas office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Medical Malpractice & Long-Term Care Practices. Mr. Rourke’s thirty years of practice has focused on representing health care providers in litigation and administrative matters. Mr. Rourke represents pharmacies, hospitals, specialty hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, group homes, surgical centers, dialysis centers, medical practices, doctors, nurses, and various other medical professionals throughout Nevada. Mr. Rourke has been lead trial counsel and assisted health care practitioners obtain favorable trial verdicts in complex multimillion-dollar malpractice actions.

Mr. Rourke’s practice also includes representation of licensed medical professional and licensed administrators in credentialing matters, fair hearings, and proceeding before various professional licensing boards. Mr. Rourke has actively participated in the legislative process by providing lobbying services for various health care providers. He has drafted proposed statutory language as well as testified before legislative committees in support of proposed changes to the Nevada Revised Statutes and Nevada Administrative Code. 

Mr. Rourke is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and holds degrees in Finance and International Business. He has been a member of the Nevada Bar since 1995. He was a member of the Florida Bar between 1993 and 1999.
