Lewis Brisbois Business Practices Team to Present Labor & Employment Webinar with VACOC

A team of Lewis Brisbois attorneys, including San Francisco Partner Marcus Lee, San Diego Partner Garth N. Ward, and Los Angeles Associate Stephanie Q. Le, will present a labor & employment webinar on April 20 at 3:00 p.m. PT. The session will be moderated by Los Angeles Partner Scott Lee.  

Los Angeles, Calif. (April 14, 2022) – A team of Lewis Brisbois attorneys, including San Francisco Partner Marcus Lee, San Diego Partner Garth N. Ward, and Los Angeles Associate Stephanie Q. Le, will present a labor & employment webinar on April 20 at 3:00 p.m. PT. The session will be moderated by Los Angeles Partner Scott Lee.  

Hosted by the Board of the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and the City of Garden Grove, the webinar will cover this year’s major labor & employment law updates, California's Proposition 65, and the city’s business assistance programs. This is a must-attend event for international business owners and employers in the State of California.  

Scott Lee is a co-chair of the Korean Business & Litigation and Lithium-Ion Battery Practices. His areas of practice include commercial litigation, general liability, corporate and bankruptcy. He is the founding member of the Korean Business Group, which currently has a number of Korean American attorneys in multiple offices across the country.  

Marcus Lee is head of the San Francisco office’s Korean Business Practice, specializing in labor and employment. He maintains dual licensure in California and Nevada, defending and counseling clients in all employment-related matters – litigation, risk management, and compliance. His litigation team defends cases ranging from sexual harassment, gender/age/race discrimination, wage and hour disputes, to background checks. 

Mr. Ward is a member of the General Liability and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. His practice focuses primarily on environmental and general liability issues with an emphasis in toxic torts, high profile pollution claims, asbestos and Proposition 65 matters. Additionally, he assists clients with land use issues and also with navigating the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act. 

Ms. Le is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. She has considerable litigation experience in both state and federal courts litigating individual and multi-plaintiff employment lawsuits, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, failure to engage in the interactive process, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
