Providence, R.I. (April 11, 2022) – Providence Partner Jeffrey M. Liptrot will speak at the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Educational Conference, hosted at the Graduate Providence Hotel on April 29 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

In an informative two-hour session titled “Handling a Workers’ Compensation Claim,” Mr. Liptrot and his co-panelists will provide claims professionals and practitioners with an in-depth review of handling a workers’ compensation claim from start to finish. They will highlight common pitfalls and nuanced decision-making in workers’ compensation claim handling, with a focus on the proper interpretation of medical reports and diagnostic studies, which typically drives most workers’ compensation outcomes.

The conference is sponsored by the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court and the International Workers’ Compensation Foundation.

Mr. Liptrot is a member of the Workers' Compensation Practice. He has 25 years of trial practice, concentrating in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment litigation and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Liptrot routinely represents self-insured employers and insurers before all levels of the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court.
