Frank Cerza, Karen Bennett to Join AmCham Webinar on Infrastructure Law Investment Opportunities

Bennett will join a webinar hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (AmCham) on January 26 at 4:00 p.m. ET to discuss new opportunities for investment in the United States by Italian companies following the passage of the bipartisan infrastructure bill last November.

(January 20, 2022) - New York Partner Frank J. Cerza and Washington, D.C. Partner Karen C. Bennett will join a webinar hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (AmCham) on January 26 at 4:00 p.m. ET to discuss new opportunities for investment in the United States by Italian companies following the passage of the bipartisan infrastructure bill last November.

The event will bring together American and Italian C-level professionals representing the private sector for an exchange of views and best practices on how to support Italian infrastructure companies willing to invest in the United States to build more sustainable and inclusive infrastructures. Ms. Bennett will be the webinar's keynote speaker and Mr. Cerza will moderate a panel discussion featuring four senior executives from businesses operating in Italy. AmCham is a private non-profit organization, affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and includes over three million companies. 

Mr. Cerza is chair of Lewis Brisbois' Italy Practice and a vice-chair of its Commercial Lending Practice. He regularly represents American and Italian companies and individuals in cross-border transactions between the U.S. and Italy in connection with wide range of legal and commercial matters. He also serves as outside general counsel to Italian and international companies doing business in the U.S. and assists American companies in their business endeavors in the U.S. and Europe.

Ms. Bennett is co-chair of Lewis Brisbois' Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice and Government Relations Group, as well as its Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Practice, and Environment, Land, & Natural Resources Law Practice. She works with clients to resolve regulatory issues, focusing primarily on permitting, compliance, litigation, and legislative policy.
