Orange County, Calif. (January 13, 2022) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to present our first webinar of 2022, "Passing the Hat – Considerations Involved in Risk Transfer", taking place Thursday, January 20 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Walnut Creek Partner Stephen Welch, New York Partner Thomas J. Maroney, and Houston Partner Sarah Smith will discuss the conditions, law, and practical application of two critically important risk transfer vehicles. This informative program will be beneficial for insurance professionals who handle claims involving bodily injury, property damage claims, and/or construction disputes.

Mr. Maroney is a member of the General Liability, Construction, Insurance Coverage, Transportation, and Professional Liability Practices. He predominantly focuses his practice on general liability, premises liability, construction, hospitality, Dram Shop, wrongful death, and transportation.

Mr. Welch is a co-chair of the firm’s Construction Practice. He specializes in representation of subcontractors, material suppliers, design professionals, general contractors, developers, and owners in all types of construction disputes. 

Ms. Smith is a vice-chair of the Coverage/Bad Faith, and Marine & Energy Practices, and a member of the firm's Insurance Law Practice. She routinely handles complex insurance coverage and bad faith matters, involving both commercial and personal lines

Ms. Holm is co-chair of the Professional Liability Practice, and vice-chair of the Product Liability Practice. Her specialty is Trial Practice in Professional, General, Employment, Transportation and Product Liability matters. She moderates all sessions that are part of this General Webinar series by Lewis Brisbois.
