Megan Grossman, Thomas Regan to Present Strafford Webinar on FCRP 30(b)(6) Amendment Updates

Philadelphia Partner Megan E. Grossman and Newark Partner Thomas Regan will present a webinar titled "Rule 30(b)(6) Changes One Year Later: Eliminating Deficient Subject Lists and Securing Better Prepared Witnesses," on December 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Hosted by Strafford Publications, an education provider for attorneys and accountants, this will be a follow-up to their webinar from last year when the amendment was first introduced.

Philadelphia, Pa. (November 30, 2021) – Philadelphia Partner Megan E. Grossman and Newark Partner Thomas Regan will present a webinar titled "Rule 30(b)(6) Changes One Year Later: Eliminating Deficient Subject Lists and Securing Better Prepared Witnesses," on December 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Hosted by Strafford Publications, an education provider for attorneys and accountants, this will be a follow-up to their webinar from last year when the amendment was first introduced.

During this 90-minute session, Ms. Grossman and Mr. Regan will examine whether the 2020 amendments to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 30(b)(6) have produced improvements in getting better prepared witnesses to give useful testimony with fewer discovery disputes. They will review the language of the prior and current rules, best practices for the "meet and confer," any case law that has developed under the new rule, and best practices for Rule 30(b)(6) depositions. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Grossman is a vice-chair of the Life Sciences Practice, and has extensive experience representing companies in general liability, products liability and complex litigation matters. She focuses her practice on representing various medical device and pharmaceutical companies in products liability matters relating to life sciences and biotechnology.

Mr. Regan is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Products Liability, General Liability, and National Trial Practices. His practice ranges from serving as first chair in trials concerning catastrophic injury, to supervising nationwide portfolios of products liability litigation, to counseling on matters concerning legal malpractice, employment law, and general liability.
