Candis Jones to Join Panel on Equity & Inclusion for Georgia Bar Diversity Program

Atlanta Partner Candis Jones will join a panel discussion on October 26 as part of the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program's "How Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manifest Themselves in the Workplace and Beyond" Fall CLE seminar.

Atlanta, Ga. (October 22, 2021) - Atlanta Partner Candis Jones will join a panel discussion on October 26 as part of the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program's "How Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manifest Themselves in the Workplace and Beyond" Fall CLE seminar.

Ms. Jones' panel will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET and is titled "Beyond Diversity - Getting to Equity and Inclusion: A Panel Discussion with Various Bar Association Presidents." Earlier this year, Ms. Jones was installed as President of the Gate City Bar Assocation, which is the oldest African American bar association in the State of Georgia. She will be joined by the presidents of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association.

Ms. Jones is a member of Lewis Brisbois' General Liability Practice and focuses on insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and medical malpractice matters. She was recently listed in Atlanta Magazine’s 2021 “Atlanta 500” and named a lawyer “On the Rise” by the Daily Report as part of its 2021 Georgia Law Awards.
