Mortimer will join a panel discussion on Wednesday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. ET., hosted by Strafford Publications, covering conventional theories of liability in trucking accident injury cases and the complexities involved with litigating and settling claims.

Titled “Litigating Trucking Accident Injury Claims: Theories of Liability, Impact of CSA Recordkeeping, and More," this 90-minute discussion will focus on the impact of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and other legal and practical considerations when bringing or defending trucking injury claims. Panelists will go over key issues such as the rules that govern trucking safety, the role that driver hiring, training, and supervision plays in determining liability, and how liability is assigned between multiple defendants. Ms. Mortimer is a vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois' General Liability Practice and a member of its Transportation Practice.
