(June 15, 2021) - New York Partner Peter T. Shapiro and Los Angeles Partner Melissa Tara Daugherty will present a webinar hosted by UsableNet on June 16 at 12:00 p.m. ET, titled "Legal Update: The Litigation Landscape for ADA Digital Lawsuits."

This webinar will provide an update on the legal landscape for ADA digital cases in the first half of 2021 including, the Winn-Dixie decision and its impact, the growing number of class-action lawsuits, mobile as an accessibility issue, unique challenges when litigating digital lawsuits, and how to create your digital accessibility program. 

Mr. Shapiro is Northeast Regional Vice-Chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice. He has more than 30 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on the defense of employment discrimination, ADA access matters, non-compete, wage and hour, civil rights, and trade secrets.

Ms. Daugherty is vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ nationwide Labor & Employment Practice, and chair of the ADA Compliance & Defense Practice. She has over 17 years’ experience successfully representing employers through every stage of litigation and pre-litigation, including serving as lead trial counsel in both state and federal courts, and on appeal.
