Akron, Ohio (June 2, 2021) - Lewis Brisbois’ Akron office has successfully closed two significant transactions. In the first transaction, Akron Managing Partner David Kern and Associate Casey J. Davis represented a leading independent provider of specialty HVAC&R and power equipment rental solutions, compressor remanufacturing, and refrigerant storage services in its acquisition of a company that rents out a full range of climate control products, including portable spot coolers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, evaporative coolers, and misting fans. This transaction broadens our client’s geographic presence into the Nashville, Tennessee market.

In the second transaction, which closed at the end of 2020, Messrs. Kern and Davis, along with Akron Associate Anna M. They assisted the client in identifying an ideal buyer and partner for its business, and managed the sale of the client to the purchasing company’s new trade services franchise platform. As a result of the purchase, our client will be in a position to accelerate its growth trajectory and provide expanded offerings to its customer base.
