Justin Shindore is a partner in the Tampa office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation practice groups. He has acted as local and regional coverage counsel for various domestic insurance companies, as well as risk-retention groups organized under the Liability Risk Retention Act ("LRRA"). He counsels clients, handles settlements, and litigates cases involving all aspects of the insurance business, including statutory and regulatory compliance issues, and first-party and third-party coverage matters including matters arising from construction defect claims, transportation claims, environmental claims, pollution and toxic tort claims, and bad faith. He advises clients regarding policy wording and drafting issues, and routinely provides specific guidance regarding claims-handling issues for catastrophic claims, time-limited settlement demands, civil remedy notices of insurer violation (CRNs), Cunningham and Coblentz agreements, and excess exposure claims involving multiple claimants and/or multiple insureds.
Mr. Shindore has also advised and represented individuals, small businesses, manufacturers, transportation companies, non-profit companies and religious organizations, and a host of other entities in complex litigation and various other matters in state and federal court.
