Newark, N.J. (April 28, 2021) - Newark and New York Partner Brian Pete will join a panel discussion titled, "Marijuana in the NJ Workplace: What Now?," sponsored by Drug Free New Jersey, on May 3 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

During this program, Mr. Pete and his fellow panelists will discuss how employers should respond to the state's new referendum on marijuana, impairment and other work-related performance issues, drug testing, and revising drug-free workplace policies and procedures. Attendees will be able to ask the presenters questions in real time throughout the discussion.

Mr. Pete is a member of Lewis Brisbois' Labor & Employment, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, and Professional Liability Practices. He regularly assists clients in navigating the complex array of federal, state, and local employment laws by advising on employment agreements, terminations, investigations, severance agreements, and proper classification of employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
