Jonathan Goins to Speak at Black In-House Counsel Network Event

Atlanta, Ga. (April 20, 2021) - Atlanta Partner Jonathan Goins will speak virtually at the Black In-House Counsel Network’s (BIHC) Regional Summit Series on April 27 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Mr. Goins’ panel will address strategies for policing and enforcing trademark and anti-counterfeiting issues, especially given the proliferation of social media and online advertising.

BIHC’s Summit Series is a one-day event that showcases the talents of Black partners before an audience of influential in-house counsel. Each one-hour session, designed to spotlight partners in their areas of expertise in practice areas such as Mergers and Acquisitions, Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Labor and Employment. Lloyd Johnson Jr., past founder of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), recently launched BIHC, which comprises many Fortune 1000 attorneys of color devoted to increasing diversity efforts in legal departments, C-suites, and law firms.

Mr. Goins is vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois' Intellectual Property & Technology and Entertainment, Media & Sports Practices. With over 17 years of experience, he serves as lead counsel in federal cases nationally for a wide range of clients involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, right of publicity, entertainment, breach of software contracts, and related business torts.
