Paul Eckert is a partner in the New Orleans office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practices. Mr. Eckert has over 40 years of experience in civil litigation, specializing in Governmental Law, Insurance Defense, Bad Faith Litigation, Product’s Liability, Premises Liability, Toxic Tort, and Commercial and Personal Property & Casualty. He is also a recipient of the AV Preeminent Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Eckert received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law.

He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts. He has handled appeals in the Louisiana Supreme Court, the Louisiana First and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Eckert serves as an Arbitrator with the Louisiana State Bar Association Fee Dispute Resolution Program.
