Lewis Brisbois Boosts Litigation Capabilities in Atlanta with New Partner Hire

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Vonnetta Leatrice Benjamin to its Atlanta office as a partner in its General Liability, Products Liability, and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. Ms. Benjamin is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on products liability litigation, complex business litigation, and healthcare and medical malpractice litigation.

Atlanta, Ga. (March 31, 2021) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Vonnetta Leatrice Benjamin to its Atlanta office as a partner in its General Liability, Products Liability, and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. Ms. Benjamin is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on products liability litigation, complex business litigation, and healthcare and medical malpractice litigation. Throughout her career, Ms. Benjamin has consistently handled a diverse array of matters across various industries. Continually focused on clients’ objectives, she effectively advises organizations throughout all phases of litigation.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Benjamin is actively involved in her community, serving as a Community Educator with the Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter. She also recently received the Modern Luxury Medicine + Doctors 2019 Philanthropic Luminary Award for her work with Daughters Against Alzheimer's, which raises funds to support research projects conducted by Emory University’s Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Ms. Benjamin received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Georgia, as well as in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
