Danny Duong is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Products Liability, and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices.

Danny works closely with national defense counsel in numerous products liability matters in both state and federal court and negotiates many pre-suit settlements. In addition, Danny handles a diverse civil defense practice including the defense of business and property owners, asset management companies, and religious organizations. He works closely with his clients to understand their business, which has enabled him to secure many defense decisions and other favorable outcomes.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Danny was an Assistant Corporation Counsel ("ACC") at the New York City Law Department where he defended the City of New York and its client agencies in complex high-exposure Tort claims in cases from inception to resolution. He has extensive experience in defending claims arising out of premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, negligent supervision, and wrongful death. In his prior role as an ACC, Danny has conducted dozens of depositions, settled and disposed of numerous cases, and taken one verdict.

Danny graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School where he was a member of both the Moot Court Honor Society’s Trial Advocacy Division and the Journal of Law and Policy.
