Lewis Brisbois National Business Practices Team Advises On Sale of Online IT Training Provider

Platner and Partner Jeffrey Weinstock, along with a national team of Lewis Brisbois attorneys, recently advised ITProTV and certain of its owners in the sale of its business to Boathouse Capital, a Pennsylvania-based private equity firm, for integration with its ACI Learning business in the United States and United Kingdom.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (November 23, 2020) – Fort Lauderdale Managing Partner Michael G. Platner and Partner Jeffrey Weinstock, along with a national team of Lewis Brisbois attorneys, recently advised ITProTV and certain of its owners in the sale of its business to Boathouse Capital, a Pennsylvania-based private equity firm, for integration with its ACI Learning business in the United States and United Kingdom.

ITProTV is an online IT training provider and community of learners who access nearly 6,000 hours of IT skills and training courses through a platform that allows them to interact with each other and subject matter experts to better themselves, their organizations, and their careers. Founded in 2013, ITProTV is based in Gainesville, Florida and operates eight studios, employs over 60 professionals, and was ranked #18 in the mid-size category of Best Companies to Work For in Florida in 2019.

The deal included participation from attorneys in Lewis Brisbois’ Corporate, Finance, Tax, Real Estate, and Intellectual Property & Technology Practices, including Washington, D.C. Partners Michael Grace and Katherine Funk, Houston Partner Ashley Tse, and Fort Lauderdale Associate Raphael Rosenzweig.
