Scott Lee and Soo Jin Isicoff to Join KCAB International Webinar on International Transactions

Los Angeles Partner Scott Lee and Ft. Lauderdale Associate Soo Jin Isicoff will join a webinar, titled “KCAB International Legal Webinar for Korean & U.S. Corporations,” hosted by KCAB International’s Los Angeles office on September 10, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. PT.

Los Angeles, Calif. (September 2, 2020) - Los Angeles Partner Scott Lee and Ft. Lauderdale Associate Soo Jin Isicoff will join a webinar, titled “KCAB International Legal Webinar for Korean & U.S. Corporations,” hosted by KCAB International’s Los Angeles office on September 10, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. PT. During this webinar, panelists will discuss basic legal issues that Korean and U.S. corporations face when conducting business overseas.

Mr. Lee will focus his presentation on U.S. contract law and arbitration clauses, while Ms. Isicoff will discuss how a foreign individual or entity can set up a U.S. corporation. Their fellow panelists will similarly provide a general overview of the legal considerations surrounding international transactions and how to address various matters that may arise. The webinar will be conducted in Korean.

Mr. Lee serves as co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Korean Business & Litigation Practice, which currently includes several Korean American attorneys in multiple offices across the country. Mr. Lee regularly represents large Korean companies in various matters in the U.S., and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, general liability, corporate, and bankruptcy matters. With his assistance, Lewis Brisbois also maintains a strong network with major law firms in Korea to jointly handle cross-border issues.

Ms. Isicoff is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Corporate Practice. She focuses her practice on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investment, financing, corporate formation and governance, as well as other general commercial and corporate matters.
