(January 2020) - Lewis Brisbois recently hosted the Management Delegation of AllBright Law Offices in our Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York offices. AllBright is a large premier Chinese law firm based in Shanghai with about 2,800 attorneys and 22 offices in China. The five-member delegation was headed by its National Chairman and consisted of the Executive Committee Member, International Co-Operation and Communication Liaison, and two Senior Partners for foreign investments outside China.

Lewis Brisbois’ Chairman Robert Lewis, along with the Los Angeles Managing Partners Steve Lewis and Jana Lubert, shared the history and growth of the firm, as well as how it is structured and managed. New York Managing Partner Gregory Katz and San Francisco Partner Duane Musfelt met with the delegation in their respective offices and discussed with them legal markets and how the two firms may work together in an increasingly connected world.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation was also impressed by a visit to the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) arranged by the Los Angeles Partner David Nahai. LACI is a project of the City of Los Angeles with global reach, headed by the City’s former Chief Sustainability Officer, to foster and develop technologies and companies principally in the Cleantech arena.

All the meetings were very successful. AllBright delegation extended their deep gratitude to Los Angeles Partner Hong Lu for everything she did to build up this relationship. Lewis Brisbois’ attorneys have started assisting AllBright’s clients in their U.S. business expansion and disputes.
