Three Lewis Brisbois Partners to Present at ACA International Fall Forum & Expo

Washington D.C. Partner Jane C. Luxton and Los Angeles Partners Stephen Turner and Patrik Johansson will deliver a presentation at the 2019 Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA) International Fall Forum & Expo taking place November 6 - 8 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

Chicago, Ill. (October 30, 2019) – Washington D.C. Partner Jane C. Luxton and Los Angeles Partners Stephen Turner and Patrik Johansson will deliver a presentation at the 2019 Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA) International Fall Forum & Expo taking place November 6 - 8 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

This presentation, titled “Facing the Brave New World: Life After the CFPB's New Debt Collection Rule,” will begin at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, November 7. The partners will analyze the themes and implications for the debt collection community and provide insights from both regulatory and litigation perspectives, now that all comments have been submitted for the CFPB’s proposed debt collection rule.

This 3-day event will offer a wide variety of educational sessions lead by thought leaders in the debt collection industry.

Ms. Luxton, Mr. Turner, and Mr. Johansson are all members of Lewis Brisbois’ Consumer Litigation Defense & Financial Services Practice, with experience advising clients on CFPB rules and other debt related laws.
