Chicago, Ill. (October 17, 2019) – Labor & Employment Partner Mary A. Smigielski will speak at the First Chair Equal Pay Summit, taking place October 21-22 at Venue SIX10 in Chicago. She and her co-panelists will give a presentation titled “An Analysis of Pay Equity Laws and Legislation in the United States.”

Their discussion will take place on Tuesday, October 22, at 9:00 a.m. and will cover a wide range of relevant topics regarding equal pay. The panelists will discuss the impact of #MeToo, legislative trends, recent case studies, and best practices for the legal industry to implement better pay policies. 

First Chair is an organization designed to bring together accomplished attorneys to address the issues of pay equity by educating senior management and assisting with the implementation of pay equity compliance programs.
