Washington, D.C. (September 12, 2019) – Washington D.C. Partner Jane C. Luxton will join a webinar hosted by the Environmental Law Institute titled “The Value of Increased Women on Board,” taking place September 19 at 4:00 p.m. EST.

Ms. Luxton and her fellow panelists will discuss the recent study conducted by Dr. Chelsea Liu, Are women greener? Corporate gender diversity and environmental violations, which examines how a firm’s gender diversity within a boardroom can positively affect a company and reduce the likelihood of environmental law violations. The panelists will also reflect on women’s unique attitudes toward environmental protection and the best methods for companies to embrace women in the decision-making processes within the boardroom.

Ms. Luxton is co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Environmental and Administrative Law Practice. She has significant experience working within the U.S. government in several prominent positions relating to environmental law.
