Michael Christopher



Michael J. Christopher is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and Healthcare Practices as well as the Medical Malpractice Department. He assists clients in responding to data security incidents, including advising clients in their response efforts, coordinating digital forensics and remediation, advising on data breach notification statutes, facilitating the fulfillment of consumer and regulatory notification obligations, and responding to government, regulatory, and media inquiries. Michael also advises clients on compliance with foreign, federal, and state privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Additionally, Michael has experience handling all phases of litigation in matters related to healthcare and medical malpractice. He also has a background in products liability law, toxic tort litigation, premises liability, and workers compensation insurance litigation.
