San Diego, Calif (July 8, 2019) – San Bernardino Partner Rima M. Badawiya will give a presentation titled “They Never Stop: Civil Liability Update & Best Practices” at the California Association of Health Facilities 2019 Summer Conference, taking place July 14 - 17 in San Diego, California.
Ms. Badawiya’s 50-minute presentation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15. She and her co-presenter will explore the current state of civil liability, the types of cases that are “high risk,” and the best practices for post-acute and long-term care providers to mitigate risk.
Ms. Badawiya is a vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance Practice. She has extensive experience in defending nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare and long-term care professionals and organizations.
