San Francisco Partner Deborah Smith will join a panel at the America Bar Association’s 28th Annual Spring CLE Meeting: Hot Topics in Toxic Torts & Environmental Law Conference, taking place April 4 – 6 at the Hotel Del Coronado.

Coronado, Calif. (March 22, 2019) – San Francisco Partner Deborah Smith will join a panel at the America Bar Association’s 28th Annual Spring CLE Meeting: Hot Topics in Toxic Torts & Environmental Law Conference, taking place April 4 – 6 at the Hotel Del Coronado.

Ms. Smith’s panel discussion, titled “Women Lawyers: Are We Disrupting the Bias Female Attorneys Experience Inside and Outside the Courtroom Enough?” will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, and will address the numerous issues women attorneys face inside and outside the courtroom by opposing counsel, juries, judges, and sometimes even clients.

Ms. Smith is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Asbestos Litigation and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. Her primary focus areas are complex product liability, personal injury defense, labor and employment, maritime and business litigation. She previously served as national and local counsel in complex product liability, toxic tort and other litigation matters in high-profile, high-stakes litigation.

This annual three-day conference is packed with information on the latest legal industry news, this year with a focus on litigation in climate change, from talented lawyers from across the country.
