Kevin Yoegel


Kevin W. Yoegel is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. Kevin assists clients with proactive data privacy and security as well as incident response management and remediation. His practice includes compliance counseling, incident response planning, third-party contract review, and the development of privacy and information security policies. Additionally, Kevin facilitates responses to information security incidents, including investigatory forensics, consumer and regulatory notification obligations, and crisis mitigation. Kevin has a passion for information privacy technology and helping his clients keep their data private and secure. Some of his particular interests include encryption methods, malware and cyber threats, computer network defense, digital forensics, blockchain technologies, and secure healthcare systems. Kevin holds the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Kevin practiced as a commercial litigator, handling technically complex cases in state and federal courts across the country. He previously worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard S. Hoffman in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Kevin earned his law degree from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, where he was Beasley Scholar. While attending law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the Temple Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society.  Kevin earned his master’s degree in cybersecurity from Villanova University’s College of Engineering.
