William Sung Commences Term as President of APABA

Lewis Brisbois congratulates Los Angeles Partner William C. Sung on commencing his one-year term as President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA).

Los Angeles, CA (January 9, 2019) – Lewis Brisbois congratulates Los Angeles Partner William C.  Sung on commencing his one-year term as President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA).

The APABA serves as a voice for Asian Pacific American communities in the Los Angeles area, and provides programs in legal education and assistance to underserved communities, judicial appointments, MCLE, professional development, and law student mentorship.

Mr. Sung currently serves as vice-chair of the Wage & Hour Class Action Practice. He specializes in the defense of wage and hour class and PAGA representative actions in federal and state courts, and regularly counsels employers on their employment practices, policies, and agreements. Mr. Sung is also a member of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and a founding member of the Thai American Bar Association.
