Jonathan Goins Speaks at National Bar Association Event
Atlanta Partner Jonathan Goins recently joined a panel titled “Rules of the Game: The Dos & Don’ts for Outside Counsel” at an event for members of the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section on November 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Charlotte, NC (November 14, 2018) - Atlanta Partner Jonathan Goins recently joined a panel titled “Rules of the Game: The Dos & Don’ts for Outside Counsel” at an event for members of the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section on November 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Goins and four other expert panelists gave advice on working with in-house counsel and discussed ways outside counselors can avoid some common mistakes.
The event, coined as “A Peek Behind the Corporate Veil,” is one of the annual signature programs of the NBA Commercial Law Section and is designed to increase awareness of the "inner workings" of corporate legal operations. This year the event was hosted by United Technologies Corporation. The event attracted over 60 attendees, and comprised of senior practicing lawyers at large law firms and in-house counsel from such major corporations as Walmart, Starbucks, Charlotte Hornets, Electrolux, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Suntrust and Liberty Mutual.
