Atlanta patent/IP litigation Partner Joshua D. Curry recently moderated a panel on patent litigation and strategy at the 12th Annual GSU Corporate Intellectual Property Institute (CIPI) conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia on October 22 – 23.

Curry recently moderated a panel on patent litigation and strategy at the 12th Annual GSU Corporate Intellectual Property Institute (CIPI) conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia on October 22 – 23. The event, sponsored in part by Lewis Brisbois, typically draws more than 150 professionals from around the country, including representatives from such organizations as Coca-Cola, Eaton Corp, Ricoh, Equifax, 3M, Southwire, VMWare, Home Depot and more.

Mr. Curry was joined by Susanne Hollinger, Head of Patents for Coca-Cola, and William Cook, Senior IP Counsel from Eaton Corp., for a lunch panel titled “Recent IP Cases and Real-World Implications for In-House Counsel”. In addition to discussing patent issues that are top of mind for in-house IP counsel, the panel also covered trademark, copyright, and trade secrets issues that impact how in-house counsel approach their jobs and advise their internal business clients on a daily basis.
