Mark Anesh to Present at ABA Legal Malpractice Conference

New York Partner Mark K. Anesh will join a panel at the 2018 American Bar Association National Legal Malpractice Conference, held September 26 to 28 in Las Vegas.

Mr. Anesh will moderate a panel entitled “The Lawyers Must Have Helped: Defensive Strategies When It’s Clear the Law Firm’s Former Client Was a Crook” on September 27 at 10 am PST. The talk will address the common assumption that when someone is accused of major white-collar crimes or is the target of a large-scale government investigation, he must have received help from his lawyer. The panel will discuss a variety of unique defensive challenges – and opportunities – that can arise when a lawyer is targeted in the fallout from her client’s crimes.
