Jenna Disser is an associate in the Denver office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. Ms. Disser worked for Lewis Brisbois as a clerk during her final year of law school before going to work as Corporate Counsel for a large global manufacturing company headquartered in Denver.
After gaining valuable experience as in-house counsel, Ms. Disser transitioned back to Lewis Brisbois and continued her corporate law practice in assisting Lewis Brisbois clients with a variety of Anti-Trust matters, commercial contract negotiations, and M&A transactions. During her practice as both in-house counsel and a corporate attorney at Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Disser regularly worked with matters involving international law. As such, Ms. Disser gained an interest in the data privacy sector while drafting and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with the European Union’s General Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR).
Ms. Disser subsequently redirected her focus to the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. In this capacity, Ms. Disser assists clients in assessing, and complying with, any potential notification obligations arising from a data security incident pursuant to applicable state data breach notification laws, various federal regulations and statutes (including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA), as well as any contractual or other regulatory reporting requirements. She also facilitates forensic investigations and the provision of credit monitoring and identity restoration services to individuals whose information may have been impacted by a data security incident.
