Kathleen Marron Trabold
Kathleen Marron Trabold is a partner in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability, Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation and Class Action & Mass Tort Practices. She is admitted to practice law in the state of New York, New Jersey and the District Court of New Jersey.
Prior to joining this firm, Ms. Trabold was a partner at a New York law firm where she focused her practice on the defense of products liability, premises liability, toxic tort, commercial litigation, class action and insurance coverage matters. She has served as both national and local counsel defending product and equipment manufacturers in toxic tort litigation when she not only managed large dockets in several high risk jurisdictions, but also provided critical reporting and guidance to clients regarding risk and assigned outcomes for litigation. She was responsible for identifying, preparing and defending corporate witnesses in high profile cases and educating and training new local counsel in multiple jurisdictions.
For twenty years, Ms. Trabold has served as both national and local counsel defending product and equipment manufacturers, contractors and distributors in toxic tort, talc and products’ liability litigation. She has managed and assisted in the resolution of thousands of asbestos claims. Ms. Trabold takes an active participation in cases from fact and expert discovery until resolution of the matter, including trial. She has extensive experience in defending premises owners, contractors, manufacturers and distributors of consumer and intermediary goods and equipment including successfully drafting and arguing dispositive motions, mediating cases and developing coordinated discovery, case work ups and trial strategies. Ms. Trabold had significant experience conducting fact and expert witnesses, negotiating dismissals and settlements and assisting with all aspects of trial preparation.
