Lewis Brisbois Welcomes 2 Partners to Portland Office

Portland, Oregon (September 5, 2017) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Kenneth J. Abere Jr. and Nicole M. Nowlin to its Portland office as partners in the General Liability Practice.

The pair are accomplished litigators with experience handling a variety of matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and product liability cases. They have special knowledge in the challenging area of defending allegations of sexual abuse and sexual misconduct.

“Nicole Nowlin and Ken Abere are great additions to the growing Lewis Brisbois presence in the Pacific Northwest. They are excellent lawyers with values that align perfectly with those of the law firm,” said Portland Managing Partner Eric J. Neiman.

Abere’s litigation practice focuses on personal injury, premises liability, real estate, and business litigation. He has represented clients in more than 30 jury trials and 200 arbitration hearings.

Nowlin regularly handles insurance coverage matters and represents insurance companies in various coverage disputes. Throughout her legal career, she has also defended businesses and individuals in an array of complex matters, including product liability, premises liability, and automobile liability.
