Lewis Brisbois Launches New Labor & Employment Law Blog
(February 25, 2019) – Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice has launched a new blog called “The Grindstone” which will focus on the legal issues facing modern-day businesses, and will aim to provide employers and employees with crucial information in an easy-to-understand format, helping them to make well-informed decisions.
Denver Partner Jon Olafson and Associate Kayla Dreyer spearheaded the creation of the new blog and will act as its Managing Editors, with content and analysis being contributed from attorneys across Lewis Brisbois’ national Labor & Employment team.
“Whether you’re facing a potential non-competition or trade secret issue, or a potentially problematic termination, we want this blog to become your ‘go-to’ resource for the information you need,” Mr. Olafson and Ms. Dreyer note in the blog’s inaugural post.
The Grindstone will feature posts on a wide variety of labor & employment-related topics and will seek to provide readers with the general legal principles and frameworks involved, so employers know what questions to ask a legal professional should the need arise.
Mr. Olafson and Ms. Dreyer anticipate collaborating with contributors to the firm’s other two blogs, Digital Insights and the IP & Technology Blog.
“Labor and employment legal issues often involve intellectual property and, increasingly, data privacy and cybersecurity issues, so we look forward to working with our colleagues in those practices as well,” said Mr. Olafson.
Each of the firm's offices include partners, associates and a professional staff dedicated to meeting the challenge of providing the firm's clients with extraordinary service.
