Lewis Brisbois Grows General Liability Practice in Portland with New Partner

Portland, Ore. (June 28, 2021) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Ben Veralrud to its Portland office as a partner in its General Liability Practice. Mr. Veralrud joins Lewis Brisbois from a prominent national law firm where his practice included construction litigation, product liability, transportation, general tort, and first party coverage matters. In joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Veralrud will focus on defending individuals and businesses in a variety of matters including catastrophic bodily injury claims, professional liability, and commercial litigation. He also has experience in handling transactional matters in the business, insurance coverage, and construction arenas.

Early in his career, Mr. Veralrud clerked for Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Edward Jones, where he gained experience with all aspects of courtroom procedure, including coordinating over 40 civil and criminal trials.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Veralrud enjoys running, hiking, golf, and exploring the outdoors with his family.

A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, Mr. Veralrud received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Oregon.
